Horizontal Transfer Requirements

Below is a summary of general conditions determined within the scope of the YÖK Horizontal Transfer Regulation. For detailed information, please contact the Office of Student Affairs.

Who Can Apply?

  • Students currently enrolled in equivalent undergraduate programs at other universities in Turkey
  • Those who meet the minimum GPA requirement specified in YÖK Horizontal Transfer Regulation
  • Those who have successfully completed the prerequisite courses of the program they are applying to
  • Students without disciplinary sanctions and with active registration
  • Students outside registration suspension or authorized leave periods

Evaluation Criteria

  • Grade Point Average (GPA)

    Minimum 2.50/4.00 or equivalent

  • Course Compatibility

    At least 70% curriculum overlap with target program

  • Quota

    Limited quota per program determined by YÖK

  • Success Ranking

    GPA-based ranking if applications exceed quota

  • Document Completeness

    Applications with missing documents are not evaluated
